As a Mechanical Claims Adjuster, you'll play a vital role in supporting the claims team by evaluating and processing claims related to mechanical breakdowns, appearance, tires, and wheels. You'll collaborate with repair facilities, customers, and dealerships to ensure claims are handled efficiently and accurately, helping our company deliver top-tier service and coverage.

What You'll Do
As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing and analyzing repair estimates, inspection reports, and supporting documentation to determine claim eligibility.
  • Communicating with repair shops, customers, and vendors via phone and email to gather information and clarify claim details.
  • Verifying repair costs using national labor and parts guides, ensuring estimates are within approved guidelines.
  • Assessing coverage based on the service contract, using your mechanical knowledge and judgment.
  • Documenting all interactions and findings in the claim system to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Handling inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service to retail and wholesale stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with team members and management to resolve complex issues and improve processes.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED; technical training or a college degree is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of practical automotive repair experience or automotive technical training.
  • ASE certification or equivalent manufacturer certifications preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Good problem-solving, decisiveness, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
