Mechanical Commodity Specialist
Responsible for managing mechanical commodities, supplier relationships, sourcing, cost, quality, and delivery for mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage sourcing and procurement of mechanical parts, components, and assemblies.
Develop and manage suppliers, RFQs, negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
Review engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams.
Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and capacity.
Support new product introduction (NPI), supplier qualification, and cost optimization

Required Skills:
Experience in mechanical commodity management/sourcing.
Knowledge of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
Strong supplier management, negotiation, and cost analysis skills.
Experience with ERP/SAP and procurement processes preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
