Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Arvada, CO
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of medical device components, assemblies, and systems within a regulated engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems
Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Autodesk Revit
Participate in model, design, and milestone reviews
Perform GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
Support tolerance stack-up and fit/function verification
Apply DFMA principles and material selection practices
Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Support PLM/PDM, configuration, and change management processes
Ensure designs meet quality, safety, schedule, and client requirements
Track design progress and communicate status to project leads
Requirements:
Experience in mechanical design
Hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit
Strong 3D modeling and 2D drafting skills
Expertise in GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
Experience with tolerance stack-up analysis
Knowledge of DFMA and material selection
Familiarity with ASME, ISO, and ANSI standards
Experience with BOMs, PLM/PDM, and engineering documentation
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
