Mechanical Design Engineer<\/b> to join its multi -disciplinary design and development team. This is a hands -on role ideal for an experienced and creative engineer with a strong background in mechanical product development, CAD design, and assembly drawings.
<\/p>

Working across the full product life cycle—from concept development to manufacturing support—the successful candidate will contribute to the design of bespoke, high -precision mechanical systems tailored to customer requirements. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage complex tolerances, and a collaborative approach to working with cross -functional teams.
<\/p>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Design complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks<\/b> and manage files within PDM systems<\/b>.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)<\/b> principles to ensure accurate component fit and function, especially within linear motion systems<\/b>.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Produce technical documentation including schematics (via DraftSight)<\/b>, Bill of Materials<\/b>, Change Notes<\/b>, and Build Instructions<\/b>.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Support new product development projects as well as continuous improvement on legacy designs.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Assist with quality checks, manufacturing processes, and design validation activities in collaboration with production teams.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and European regulatory standards (e.g., CE marking)<\/b>.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Provide technical support to internal teams and contribute to customer specification discussions.
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Essential Skills & Experience:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD tools: SolidWorks<\/b> and DraftSight<\/b>.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Solid background in the design of machined and sheet metal components<\/b>, precision assemblies, and mechanical systems.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong working knowledge of engineering mathematics<\/b>, tolerance analysis<\/b>, and mechanical principles<\/b>.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Ability to create and interpret detailed technical documentation.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Collaborative approach and excellent verbal/written communication.
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Desirable:<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Experience with motion control systems<\/b>, pneumatics<\/b>, or applications in the semiconductor industry<\/b>.
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Understanding of the Machinery Directive<\/b> and other product compliance frameworks.
