Mechanical Design Engineer | Mobile Equipment

Looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to do more than sit behind a computer and create CAD models.

Join a growing equipment manufacturer designing and improving large mobile equipment. You’ll work across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and see your designs move from concept through manufacturing, testing and field use.

What You’ll Do

• Design mobile equipment and new products
• Work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Take projects from concept through design, testing and manufacturing
• Develop drawings and production documentation
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and field issues
• Work directly with manufacturing, suppliers and customers
• Improve existing equipment and help develop new products

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field
• Mechanical design and 3D CAD experience
• Experience with mobile, agricultural, heavy or industrial equipment
• Working knowledge of hydraulics
• Understanding of electrical systems and machine design
• Hands-on mindset and curiosity about how the entire machine works

This is a smaller, growing organization where engineers aren't confined to one narrow function. You’ll work closely with experienced engineering leadership and the CEO while gaining exposure to manufacturing, customers, sourcing and product development.

On-site position with occasional travel.
