With our current growth plan, you will have the opportunity to, not only learn, but to aid in the new development of technologies world-wide.Job Duties / ResponsibilitiesLead, create, modify and/or maintain complex design files (3D & 2D) using CAD to 3D model, analyze and document client engineering packagesPerform P&ID updates in AutoCAD, develop 3D plant layouts in Plant 3D and update equipment drawingsStrong understanding of PFD's, P&ID's, and GA drawingsReview and approve vendor fabrication packages, drawings and data sheetsPerform hydraulic calculations for line sizing, pump specification, vendor pump selection and other rotating equipment. Understanding of control valves and instrumentation.Practical knowledge of process equipment – piping, pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, columnsIndustry Standards - ASME VIII code, ASTM & TEMA and other applicable standardsContribute to maintaining internal company mechanical, piping and instrumentation standardsMust have strong ownership, attention to detail and collaboration skillsMinimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Other degrees will be considered pending prior experience.Experience: Ideal candidate will have 7 years of related experience in mechanical design or a manufacturing environment (turnarounds, projects, or equipment procurement /review)Technical Skills:Knowledge of P&ID developmentProficient in CAD – Plant 3D, P&ID updates, 2D Drawing creationExcel in the fundamentals of hydraulic and rotating equipment sizing (various types of pumps, blowers, vacuum pumps)Knowledge of TEMA, API standards, ASME VIII, ASTM and NFPAFormer on-site experience and Operations experience is a plus!Working knowledge of the following Software:AutoCAD P&IDNavisworks 3D ViewerPump sizing softwareMicrosoft suite of products, specifically excel and VBALicensure: FE or PE preferred but not required#J-18808-Ljbffr
