Position Summary
Complete Mechanical Engineering items needed to design, build, ship, and service our products. Typically works on one project at a time (typically creating new designs that are very close to reference designs) and is working under the direction of a Mechanical Designer or Project Engineer.
Position Responsibilities
Takes initiative to meet challenging project timelines and budgets including hours and materials
Provides layouts and details to production
Participates with compiling electronic documentation for Service manuals
Ensures that product, as designed is in conformance with Company quote and customer purchase order
Assists with complex system start-up, de-bug and final equipment maturation
Updates design package to reflect "as shipped" configuration of any critical item
Provides technical assistance for Estimating, Sales, Production and Service
Ensures required ISO documentation is completed
Assists with field installation
Typically works on multiple tasks or one complex design, creating new designs that are very close to reference designs
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy
Essential Skills and Experience
Technical degree in Engineering desired
CAD (3D modeling)
3+ years of experience in manufacturing and design of industrial automated equipment
Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic experience desired
Experience with Industrial Automation
3D Solid Modeling
Computer proficiency including spreadsheet, MS Word, Excel & Power Point
