Duration06 Months (Possibility of extension/conversion based on performance and budget)ClientOne of the largest Diesel Engines and Power Generators manufacturers in the USOverviewWe are looking for a Design Engineer who will visibly and substantially support the Safety Culture through proactive engagement and by making safety a part of every decision and integrate safe design concepts in all products and projects.DutiesDevelop and maintain knowledge and experience in recent CAD technologies and practices.Maintain technical drawing and bill of material libraryDesign panels and systems that are easy to maintain and safe to operate from ergonomic stand point.Assist in the design, specification, installation, and integration of chemical and gas manufacturing systems.Under the direction of the engineering design team, produce technical drawings and bills of material for detailed design packages for mechanical and electrical processes.Participate in Design Review, Process Hazard Analysis and EMOC meetings as needed.Support continuous improvement within the design group – e.g. development of standards, engineering tools, etc.QualificationsBachelors or technical degree (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred).Strong communications skills.Report or technical writing skills.Min. 2 years experience in project engineering or design preferably related to industrial gas applications or machinery.#J-18808-Ljbffr
