    Job Description

     
     
    Required Skills
    Summary:  Produce assembly and design drawings within Mechanical Engineering and as assigned by Project Engineer.
    1. Design and/or coordinate complete drawing package for approval and release including all engineering BOM’s and system details as directed by the PE.
    2. Design complete project/item/task package in accordance with customer requirements. Specifies components and creates BOM’s.
    3. Review, verify, and correct own work prior to checking by an engineer or designer. Ensures that details and sub-assemblies fit together.
    4. Revise drawings as required through detailer, manufacturing, or field changes.
    5. Develop cost effective, standardized designs.
    6. Support Manufacturing and Service Departments during building and installation stages as required.
    7. Support project, departmental, and business goals/objectives for design direction, quality, budget, and schedule.
    8. Consistently assures the accurate design of mechanical parts, details, and drawings.
    9. Effectively research purchased parts to ensure good quality, keep delivery date in mind to provide timely delivery of machine.
    10. Consistently aware of engineering cost and time budgets pursuant to job.
    11. Understand and consistently adhere to standard operating procedures relating to this position.
    12. Apply knowledge of safety and quality in all designs and assures proper release of completed BOM’s to production control.
    Required Experience
    • Bachelors Degree in Technical Discipline or 5 Years Experience that Demonstrates Progression of Responsibilities
    • Verbal and Written Communication Skills
    • Computer Skills (AutoCad, Solidworks MS Office, Visibility)
    • Time and Project Management Skills
