Mechanical Design Engineer

For our site in Ramat Hasharon, Land & IMI is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in protection and survivability systems.

In this role you will

Analyze technical project requirements and implement them into mechanical designs

Develop 3D models in CAD environments using PDM systems, produce drawings, and support manufacturing activities

Build and manage product structures in PLM systems

Perform strength calculations and engineering analyses

Prepare and present design reviews and project status presentations

Work closely with IDF representatives, technical consultants, and external manufacturers

Plan and participate in field tests and experiments

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering

3-5 years of experience in mechanical development

Experience with military mechanical systems, weapons, or protection systems - Advantage

Experience in protection and platform-related projects - Advantage

Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM/PLM systems

Proficiency in Office and Project software

High level of English

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment
