Our client is a leading lifting and rigging equipment manufacturer and service provider with engineering and fabrication capabilities. The organization has been serving customers for more than five decades and has built a strong reputation as one of the region's largest full-service lifting and rigging suppliers. Following a recent acquisition, the company is continuing to invest in its engineering team and growth initiatives.
Job Description
Design and develop custom lifting, rigging, and engineered mechanical solutions
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
Perform engineering calculations to validate designs and ensure product performance
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support fabrication and production processes
Review customer specifications and develop customized design solutions
Support project quotation and technical proposal activities
Troubleshoot design and manufacturing challenges throughout project execution
Participate in product improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
Support occasional customer site visits and project-related travel throughout the local region

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
4+ years of mechanical design engineering experience
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on engineering approach with the ability to work closely with production teams
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience designing metal-based products, components, or fabricated assemblies preferred

Base salary range of $85,000-$105,000 plus annual performance bonus
