Requirement/Must Have:
- Extensive experience using Autodesk Inventor to create, modify, and maintain 3D models, component drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Strong background in mechanical design, material selection, and component specification to optimize product cost, manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault for document management.
- Proficiency in the Autodesk Inventor Tube & Pipe, Cable & Harness, and Sheet Metal environments.
- Experience with Enovia PLM.
- Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Familiarity with applicable ASTM standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and revising detailed engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Developing and presenting design review documentation.
- Supporting prototype builds, including procurement of prototype components.
- Performing system integration, troubleshooting, and prototype testing.
- Transferring designs to manufacturing and supporting production release activities.
- Generating and maintaining technical documentation, including assembly instructions, test procedures, installation guides, and service manuals.
- Developing electrical and system enclosures, vacuum system components, gas delivery systems, and pneumatic assemblies.
