Mechanical Design Engineer IV

Our client, a global energy and power generation leader, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer IV (Design Liaison Engineer) to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer IV, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, problem-solving ability, and a quality-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer IV (Design Liaison Engineer)
Location: Greenville, SC
Pay Range: Up to $59/hour

What’s the Job?

• Act as liaison between engineering and supply chain to resolve hardware and design issues
• Support design for manufacturability, lean processes, and concurrent engineering
• Drive quality improvements and disposition non-conforming hardware
• Assist in qualification of new processes, equipment, and manufacturing technologies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve product performance and reduce costs

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience
• Experience supporting design and manufacturing environments
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering problem-solving
