Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working on innovative projects within the aerospace industry, focusing on designing and developing cutting-edge products and systems. The ideal candidate will be a US Citizen with extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 6 years of mechanical design and engineering experience with NX and Teamcenter
- Experience in engine or APU design
- Proven application of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in aerospace engineering teams
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience in design for manufacturing and cost estimation

- Imagine, design, and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team
- Collaborate across aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers
- Participate in all phases of product development
