Description
This Mechanical Design Engineer will be:
- Designing UAV mechanical components and assemblies
- Creating 3D CAD models and drawings
- Performing structural and thermal analysis
- Collaborating with electrical and systems teams
- Supporting prototype builds and testing
- Optimizing designs for performance and weight
- Managing design revisions and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with aerospace standards
Profile
This Mechanical Design Engineer will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 3+ years of design experience
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)
- Experience with aerospace or UAV systems preferred
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Simulation/FEA experience is a plus
