The Designer / Draftsman will primarily be focused on developing and maintaining project Permit coordination and submittal, Shop Fabrication, and P&ID drawings sets. Will assist Clients, Engineers, Estimators, and Layout Detail teams with developing and maintaining project drawings and design support documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop MEP Drawings sets from information provided by Engineers, Estimators, Clients, Manufacturers and Collaborators using AutoCAD.
Assist in dimensioning and layout to develop shop fabrication drawings for piping pre-fabrication projects.
Coordinate with multiple departments and clients as required to provide accurate As-Built Drawings post construction.
Develop and maintain Refrigeration System Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
Assist Project Managers with equipment submittal document organization and tracking.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
Have complete command of AutoCAD 2D, 3D, and MEP
Be able to read and interpret construction drawings from all disciplines.
Have experience with Microsoft Office Applications. Word, Excel, MS Project
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Be self-motivated to work under pressure and stay on track.
