What You'll Do:
Create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD Inventor software
Design and develop automated mechanical systems for industrial applications
Perform engineering calculations involving tolerances, structural analysis, torque, beam loading, and motor sizing
Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and complete production drawing packages
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams to support successful project execution
Troubleshoot production and design issues to maintain project timelines and product quality
Assist with technical documentation, manuals, and schematics for customer deliverables
Recommend design improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency and customer satisfaction
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with workplace safety standards

What Were Looking For:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field
57 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or manufacturing environments
Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Inventor and 3D CAD software
Strong understanding of machine design, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and manufacturing processes
Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed production drawings
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
Familiarity with machining, welding, and production floor collaboration
Autodesk Vault experience or drafting certifications are a plus
Valid drivers license and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
