What You'll Do:
• Create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD Inventor software
• Design and develop automated mechanical systems for industrial applications
• Perform engineering calculations involving tolerances, structural analysis, torque, beam loading, and motor sizing
• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and complete production drawing packages
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams to support successful project execution
• Troubleshoot production and design issues to maintain project timelines and product quality
• Assist with technical documentation, manuals, and schematics for customer deliverables
• Recommend design improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with workplace safety standards

What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or manufacturing environments
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Inventor and 3D CAD software
• Strong understanding of machine design, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and manufacturing processes
• Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed production drawings
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
• Familiarity with machining, welding, and production floor collaboration
• Autodesk Vault experience or drafting certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
