Mechanical Designer

Position Summary:

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation for new and existing products. Working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams, this role supports product development by designing practical, cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements, quality standards, project timelines, and budget objectives.

Job Duties:

- Assist with building prototype concepts based on designs reviewed by engineers.

Optimized designs for size, weight, cost, and manufacturability.

- Assist with prototype development, testing, and validation of components in lab and production environments.

- Created detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of material for manufacturing and quality control and prepares lay-outs and sketches and makes basic calculations.

- Supports manufacturing processes and assembly methods.

- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reliability.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve performance

- Collaborated with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, manufacturing) to ensure seamless product integration.

What you need to be successful:

- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology

 - Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience using Autodesk design tools

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM systems.
