This is a 1-year onsite Mechanical Developer 2 role in Hingham, MA, with a pay rate of $55/hr W2, starting ASAP to backfill a departing employee.
- Requires a BA in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in 3D solid modeling (Creo/ProE), mechanical design, testing, and documentation of electrical power components.
- Responsibilities include developing mechanical parts, performing tolerance analyses, selecting materials, creating layouts, maintaining technical files, and improving development procedures.
- Occasional travel (0-5%) may be required for testing and supplier visits.
- Must wear steel-toed shoes and eye protection onsite; a Grainger account offers a $100 credit.
- Preferred experience with automatic transfer switches is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
