Mechanical Drafter/Designer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer for an IMMEDIATE long-term TEMP-HIRE position in Tucson, AZ, specializing in large material handling and plant processing equipment for the mineral processing and mining industry.

In this role, you will use AUTOCAD, MICROSTATION, and SOLIDEDGE CAD to create equipment and layout drawings for mineral processing plants, including crushers, grinders, conveyors, and washers.

The position requires on-site work in Tucson, with pay ranging from $30.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Design/Engineering or equivalent trade experience
• CAD skills in AUTOCAD 2D/3D, Microstation, SOLIDEDGE or similar
• 8-10 years of experience, including 3+ years in design, drafting, and layout of mineral processing plants or similar
• Experience in metals mining and structural design for process plants preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, strong CAD skills, and good communication abilities
