As a Drafter, it will be your responsibility to bring to life a customer's vision for their perfect custom vehicle. You are responsible for producing drawings, bill of materials, and detailed information to produce custom vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop detailed drawings for various customers, with comparisons of available designs accounting for quality and functionality.
Develop vehicle specifications across a wide range of industries.
Define component specifications for vehicle bodies, HVAC, lighting, and cabinetry.
Work with purchasing and production to assist with material sourcing, advising material quality needs in contrast to availability and price.
Produce vehicle drawings in AutoCAD ensuring all customer requirements are met, adjusting for revisions based on feedback.
Define detailed design drawings to support: sheet metal cutting and forming, fabrication, woodshop, assembly, and production lines.
Create bills of materials, interfaced with procurement and production.
Maintain revision control, ensuring all departments are up to date.
Process and enact change orders from engineering, customer feedback, quality assurance, and sales specifications.
Resolve manufacturing shop floor questions and issues.
Design for manufacturing and assembly from concept to final product.
Provide detailed drawings in SolidWorks and install instructions for the manufacturing teams, revising in collaboration.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
