  • Incorporate engineering redlines and document change orders into existing drawings and models in a timely and precise manner.
  • Support the design of custom fixtures and components for 3D printing, machining, injection molding, and stamping as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and other team members to clarify requirements and resolve design or documentation issues.
  • Use CAD tools and PDM workflows to maintain organized, traceable, and revision-controlled design documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for creating component and assembly models and drawings.
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM Vault or similar product data management systems.
  • Strong mechanical drafting and design skills, including creating detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
  • Ability to apply proper dimensioning and geometric tolerancing practices on drawings.
  • Experience working with redlines and implementing document change orders in CAD and documentation.
  • Familiarity with designing or detailing components for manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, machining, injection molding, and stamping.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when checking and revising drawings and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a mechanical engineering team in a design and drafting environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
