We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support production by assembling cooling units designed for CNC machines using hand tools, power tools, and blueprints.
Position Summary
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling high-pressure coolant and filtration units according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders. This role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, comfort using tools, and the ability to follow detailed instructions in a production environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Assemble cooling units and related components for CNC machines
Review and follow production work orders, schematics, and assembly instructions
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices daily
Accurately complete required production and quality documentation
Communicate with team leaders regarding assembly instructions, workflow, and scheduling
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Complete on-site training for forklifts, cranes, balers, and compactors
Build assemblies in designated work cells or areas
Required Qualifications (Must Haves)
Minimum 1+ year of hands-on mechanical experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Combination of hands-on experience and/or technical schooling accepted
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Repetitive use of hand and power tools
Standing for extended periods during the shift
Exposure to industrial equipment and production environments
