    Position Overview:

    Join our clients team as a Mechanical/Electronic Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly, testing, and modification of custom mechanical and electronic systems. Your expertise will ensure that all systems meet customer specifications and adhere to industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assemble and install mechanical and electronic systems, including components, subassemblies, and wiring, utilizing a variety of hand tools and equipment.
    • Conduct manual assembly of electronic components for small-scale production.
    • Perform wire and cable assemblies, including tasks such as crimping and stripping of wire.
    • Engage in fitting or soldering parts, using adhesives and epoxies as required, sometimes under a magnifying light.
    • Inspect and test assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
    • Interpret and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and verbal directions.
    • Adhere to IPC-A-610 and related industry standards for quality assurance.
    • Maintain consistent attendance and collaborate effectively with team members.
    • Contribute to a safe and alert working environment.
    • Support the team by undertaking additional tasks as needed.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
    • Previous experience with small hand assembly is preferred.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow and interpret work instructions accurately.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with repetitive tasks.
    • Proficiency with basic computer tasks.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Capability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues.
    • Ability to sit or stand at workstations for extended periods.
    • Strength to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
