This role is an Axle Housing Design Engineer in the Drivetrain Castings Component Team. Tasks will be directed by a Senior Engineer on the team and include concept modeling, stress & life analysis, assessing part nonconformance risk, amongst others.Typical task breakdown:- Concept design and part modeling using Creo.- Stress & life analysisEducation & Experience Required: - BS in Mechanical Engineering- 2-4 years of relevant work experienceTechnical Skills - Proficient in Creo- Understands basic geometric tolerancing- Proficient in Creo Simulate FEA- Experience in steel or iron casting design- APQP knowledge- Practical / hands-on experience- Strong mechanical aptitudeBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
