Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary

Under general direction, the Mechanical Engineer provides expertise in designing, developing, and testing a wide range of mechanical products in accordance with defined requirements and specifications. This role ensures adherence to high engineering standards and contributes to the successful delivery of reliable, cost-effective solutions.
  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems.
• Collaborate in engineering activities to define product requirements, create detailed designs, perform simulations, and validate final hardware.
• Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and established engineering methods to develop and integrate mechanical components.
• Conduct value analysis during product design to optimize performance, quality, and cost.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and continuously improve existing product designs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals (mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, etc.)
• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a systematic, detail-oriented approach
• Ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical data effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary

• Primarily office-based work environment
• Requires extended periods of sitting (66%+ of the day)
• Frequent computer use and communication via phone or video
• Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds

Manufacturing / Non-Sedentary

• May include time in warehouse or production environments
