The Mechanical Engineering organization is seeking skills engineers to lead hardware design, development and production of critical defense systems. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, mechanical hardware design experience, system integration skills, and a strong background in program execution and production support.Required Skills
- Proven experience with concept definition through detailed design, transition to production, and production support.
- Hands-on expertise with 3D CAD design tools and related product data management tools
- STEM degree with 5–10 years of experienceDesired Skills
- Experience in design, fabrication, and integration of electronic assemblies, shelter assemblies, power distribution equipment packaging Demonstrated team player, a self-driven leader with excellent collaboration skills, interpersonal skills, and positive interactions in a teaming environment Prior leadership of small to mid-sized technical teams
