Join a global leader in heavy equipment, power systems, and innovative engineering solutions as a Mechanical Engineer 4 supporting cutting-edge electrification, product health, supplier collaboration, and new product development initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects, work directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and contribute to products that make an impact around the world.
What You'll Do
- Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation and issue resolution.
- Support component development, supplier selection, validation planning, and product improvements.
- Collaborate with purchasing, testing, manufacturing, quality, and product support teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Assist with production quality initiatives, APQP activities, risk mitigation, and supply chain challenges.
- Evaluate engineering solutions based on cost, quality, performance, and business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- 8+ years of engineering experience.
- Strong project leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Electrification systems, electric machines, motors, or powertrain components.
- APQP, quality systems, validation, and risk management.
- New product development and component ownership.
Additional Details
- Full-time onsite position in Mossville, IL.
- Standard work schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Up to 25% travel may be required, including occasional domestic and Mexico travel.
- Two-step interview process consisting of an informational discussion followed by a panel interview.
