Description
- Lead projects focused on manufacturing readiness and production support
- Drive process and design improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Review technical data packages and engineering requirements prior to production
- Create, update, and maintain CAD models and engineering drawings
- Manage and update engineering documentation and design records
- Reverse engineer components and assemblies where required
- Collaborate with production teams and external manufacturers to resolve issues
- Support fabrication, machining, sheet metal, and assembly operations
- Conduct engineering analyses, including repeatability and reproducible studies
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement practical solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operations
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or mechanical engineering environments
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and technical drawing interpretation
- Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and documentation
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with contract manufacturers or external vendors (preferred)
- Exposure to industries such as aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing (preferred)
- Hands-on, practical engineering mindset
