This position designs components and subsystems for high output diesel and gas engines used in both mobile and stationary applications.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and evaluate engineering designs (including subsystems) following industry and corporate standardsCreation of detailed 3D CAD models according to design standards or specificationsDevelop detailed design drawings with appropriate application of standards, norms, and GD&T specificationsDesigns must maintain high level of accuracyProficient use of PLM software (Windchill)Lead overall communication, coordination and consultation with production, quality, vendors, and customersDevelop complex assembly drawings for new product BOM creationManage design change requests from initiation to implementationImplement improvement measures for manufacturing based on supplier, production, or customer feedbackDetermine validation/inspection plan for new or revised componentsConduct inspection and/or validation of first article components using precision tools, or coordination of 3rd‑party involvementCreate post‑inspection report for part evaluationBasic RequirementsApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship.
