Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
  • Open to entry level candidates with strong SolidWorks/CAD experience or 2 to 5 years in OEM product development and NPD environments
  • Proficient with SolidWorks and PDM systems
  • Experience creating BOMs, product configurations, assemblies, and production ready designs
  • Familiar with sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing and Kanban systems
  • Hands on machine shop experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Drive design optimization and product configuration from concept through production
  • Create and maintain SolidWorks models, assemblies, and BOMs
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross functional teams
  • Troubleshoot design issues related to sheet metal and manufacturability
  • Manage projects, timelines, and customer communication
  • Support product testing, validation, and production readiness
