This role supports the design, development, and improvement of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. The position combines hands-on 3D CAD design with analytical engineering work, manufacturing support, and supplier collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies
Create and maintain 3D models and drawings using CAD software
Perform tolerance and stack-up analysis to support robust design
Support design for manufacturability and cost considerations
Develop and maintain bills of materials and engineering documentation
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support root cause analysis
Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to support design and manufacturing efforts
Conduct engineering analysis to validate and improve designs
Support testing, verification, and implementation of design improvements
Communicate progress and technical findings with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical systems
Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks or similar)
Experience with tolerance analysis, manufacturing processes, and supplier interaction
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to produce clear engineering documentation, including drawings and change records
Effective written and verbal communication skills
