Johnson Service Group is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer  for a great client of ours in Charlotte, NC.  This is a direct hire role with salary in the $110,000 - $130,000 range
*****MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER*****
On-site Buildings Engineering Full time
  • The Mechanical Engineer will work with engineers as part of a project team to provide HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs, studies and technical support as required to fulfill project requirements.
  • Typical projects will involve field work, design, and construction administration services.
  • The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports for Building and Renovation projects.
Job Duties
  • System selection and calculations for design purposes
  • Conduct field work to document existing conditions
  • Work with Jr Engineers to develop drawings with building modeling software
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete project designs
  • Construction phase services such as submittal review and site visits to monitor project progress
Requirements
  • 4 – 6 years of experience working at an A/E consulting firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Well rounded experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
  • Experience with Revit or AutoCAD
  • Field experience  
  • Professional Engineer’s license is a plus
  • Ability to work well with a team and good analytical skills
