Our client designs, installs, owns, and operates compressed air infrastructure for industrial customers across North America, allowing facilities to purchase compressed air as a utility rather than owning and maintaining equipment themselves.With continued growth across manufacturing, healthcare, energy, and municipal markets, the company is expanding its engineering team and seeking Mechanical Engineers to support the design and execution of custom compressed air and specialty gas systems.This position is based onsite in Fairfield, OH (Greater Cincinnati area).Role The Mechanical Engineer will support the design and development of custom compressed air, drying, and specialty gas systems used in industrial applications. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will be responsible for equipment layouts, piping design, engineering calculations, and the development of modular systems from concept through installation.This role offers exposure to a variety of fluid handling and utility systems, with opportunities to work on compressed air, specialty gases, and emerging chilled water/hydronic applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering foundation and experience utilizing CAD software in an industrial environment.Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline1–8 years of engineering experience (recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered)Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksUnderstanding of mechanical systems, piping, and fluid dynamicsExperience with compressed air systems, specialty gases, pumps, cooling towers, or hydronic systems is preferred but not requiredKey Responsibilities Design custom compressed air, drying, and specialty gas systems for industrial customersDevelop equipment layouts, piping drawings, and system designs using CAD softwarePerform engineering calculations related to system sizing, flow, pressure, and performanceSupport projects from concept through installation and commissioningCollaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure project successAssist with the development and continuous improvement of modular equipment designsProvide technical support throughout the project lifecycleSkills / Personal Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilitiesUnderstanding of fluid mechanics and piping systemsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong communication and teamwork skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering environmentAdditional Information Competitive base salary: $60,000–$100,000 depending on experienceAnnual bonus opportunity of 10–15%Strong career progression within a growing engineering organizationCollaborative, team-oriented engineering environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
