In this supporting role, the Mechanical Engineer will help interpret requirements and perform detailed design activities related to avionics and defense display assemblies. Responsibilities include assisting in the review of customer needs and helping translate them into detailed product requirements. The role supports defining product structures, contributing to engineering analyses and calculations, participating in material selection activities, and assisting in the development of manufacturing strategies and configuration management.The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to 3D modeling tasks using SolidWorks and the detailed dimensioning of product components. Additional responsibilities include supporting engineering logistics such as documentation, participation in design reviews, and preparation and processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). The individual will collaborate on complex opto‑electronic mechanical assemblies and is expected to apply foundational knowledge of LCD display technologies and related disciplines.Working closely with the Senior Mechanical Engineer Team Lead and a multidisciplinary team—including sales, program/product management, engineering, quality, and manufacturing—the Mechanical Engineer ensures that product requirements are fully met.
