This role demands proficiency in developing and drafting detailed designs, including 2D and 3D models, layouts, and fabrication drawings. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Engineers, Project Managers, vendors, and clients, ensuring seamless project delivery and top-tier design quality.
Your core responsibilities will include creating precise CAD drawings tailored to project specifications, supporting both structural and mechanical engineering tasks, and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout project phases. You'll prepare fabrication-ready designs, ensure adherence to engineering standards, and mentor less experienced team members.
To succeed, you should have a minimum of six years of drafting and design experience, predominantly in the bulk material handling field. A strong command of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor, along with a team-player attitude in multidisciplinary settings, is essential. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, German, or Italian is an asset. Compensation starts at $102,000, contingent on your experience and technical expertise.
