We are seeking an energetic, Mechanical Engineer with a thorough knowledge of engineering principles and experience in a broad spectrum of manufacturing techniques to work in our Fort Worth, TX office. The Mechanical Engineer is a driver for technical excellence and key contributor to critical projects. The Mechanical Engineer is a system thinker that possesses an extensive set of tools and hands‑on technical competencies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Under supervision, assists in the execution of design processes on assigned projects and requests assistance from senior technical staff when needed.Creates design packages following guidelines, designs, models, and assists in the initial manufacturing runs.Attends meetings with other departments, clients, vendors, or field work as needed.Assists senior technical staff in the development of technical documentation, proposals, and presentations.Act as part of the design team, coordinates project schedules, new designs, prototyping, create test equipment, develop operating procedures, and resolve issues in manufacturing and the field.Observes, learns, and stays up to date on pertinent engineering studies, industry standards, and software.Assists and performs activities inside and outside the organization consistent with ethical engineering standards in the company handbook.Actively attends and participates in cross‑training sessions to broaden expertise on multiple products and departments.Under supervision, performs engineering calculations and system design functions.Participate in new design and design review meetings.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)Three (3) years' experience in design and R&D testing (required)Two (2)years' manufacturing experience (required)Experience in field operations for oil and gas (preferred)Design of downhole oilfield tools (preferred)SKILLS & ABILITIES:Proficiency in Solid Works, and MS Office Products.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints, on multiple projects simultaneously.Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems as well as industry standards and practices.Desire to use appropriate standards, policies, and procedures.Ability to work effectively in both an individual and team environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.Willingness to take ownership of and resolve challenging technical support issues.#J-18808-Ljbffr
