Minimum 5 years of experience in an automation product development environment, knowledge of Semiconductor equipment, high vacuum, wafer processing equipment, SEMI standards
CAD: Must have recent Creo, Agile/AgileCE, FEA/CFD, AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of fundamentals of components as robotic mechanisms, including motors, bearings, sensors, actuators
Strong knowledge of automation controls, robotics, semiconductor system integration
Knowledge of materials and mechanical fabrication process, good design practices for the material of choice (precision machining, sheet metal fabrication)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design/development, modification, and evaluation of primarily mechanical systems, equipment, and packages for the semiconductor industry.
Produce and release 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.
Work cooperatively with electrical and SW engineering to ensure new product designs will function per the market and customer requirements.
Build & test prototypes, hold cross-functional design reviews, and publish DR/DVT records.
Support operations, supply chain, field service, and the quality organization as needed to ensure the product line can be sustained and function reliably.
