Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Downtown Denver or DTC
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
Job Description
This position involves a dynamic blend of design and facilitation, with approximately 30% of the role dedicated to design tasks and 70% focused on facilitating and reviewing designs. You will be responsible for reviewing and performing linear pipeline designs and associated calculations, including regulator and equipment sizing. The role also includes verifying compliance with codes and standards, conducting quality checks, and reviewing manufacturer drawings. You will prepare procurement specifications, construction documents, and bid evaluations, as well as participate in conceptual design studies, report writing, and material selection. Additionally, you will observe construction, participate in project meetings, and handle project permitting and other assigned tasks.

Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days in the office per week, with four days preferred. The workday start time is flexible between 7 AM and 9 AM. This role involves approximately 20% travel, primarily within Colorado. The office is currently located downtown, with plans to expand to the DTC area by the end of 2026. Parking arrangements differ based on office location.
