Mechanical Engineer

A leading thermal energy storage and sustainability technology company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the team. This is an opportunity to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment focused on delivering real-world energy efficiency solutions for commercial and industrial refrigeration customers. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and physical installation of thermal energy storage systems, implementation of refrigeration control solutions, and ongoing customer technical support.

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Project engineering.
• Conduct on-site surveys.
• Generate installation drawings and contractor Scopes of Work.
• Generate Sequences of Operation.
• Coordinate with customer technical staff.
• Commissioning of projects.
• Provide Sales with projected energy savings and costs for potential projects.
• Provide technical assistance for existing clients.
• Travel to customer locations around the U.S. is expected.

Requirements:

• 2–10 years engineering, refrigeration, refrigeration controls, HVAC, and/or energy efficiency experience
• Bachelor's degree in either mechanical or electrical engineering
• Excellent English and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Strong experience in Excel and Microsoft Office products
• Strong experience with AutoCAD products
