The Mechanical Designer position is responsible for modeling and drawing generation of a wide range of mechanical hardware and components designed for use in elevator systems.
The candidate should not only be adept at handling typical design tasks (modeling and detailing) but must be able to effectively communicate cross functionally.
Responsibilities:
Provide design support to internal and external customers
Modify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustness
Support resolution of engineering issues
Develop component and system level models and drawings
Support cost reduction efforts
Support FTB reduction
Support Engineers with 3D studies and prototyping
Support engineering CN process
Support to system level model updates
