Job Description:
- The Mechanical Designer position is responsible for modeling and drawing generation of a wide range of mechanical hardware and components designed for use in elevator systems.
- The candidate should not only be adept at handling typical design tasks (modeling and detailing) but must be able to effectively communicate cross functionally.
Responsibilities:- Provide design support to internal and external customers
- Modify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustness
- Support resolution of engineering issues
- Develop component and system level models and drawings
- Support cost reduction efforts
- Support FTB reduction
- Support Engineers with 3D studies and prototyping
- Support engineering CN process
- Support to system level model updates
