Thison-site roleis located in*Rancho Cordova, CA.*It focuses on designing and drafting mechanical systems for industrial tools and machinery, offering an entry-level opportunity for growth.

Mechanical Engineer I Responsibilities:

  • Develop mechanical designs, create detailed drawings, and perform tolerance analysis following industry standards using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and innovate product solutions.
  • Design mechanical components, fixtures, and assemblies for manufacturing and testing.
  • Specify materials, analyze structural integrity, and account for manufacturing costs in project scope.
  • Manage component data, revision control, and bills of materials within the company's ERP system.

Mechanical Engineer I Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or related tasks.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing methods.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
