As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of advanced consumable fluidic devices that are central to this transformative project, all within a collaborative and fast-paced environment in Santa Clara.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 0-2 years of professional experience; hands-on lab experience is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks for design support.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic understanding of microfabrication, microfluidics, and materials science is a plus.
- Familiarity with metrology or microscopy equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to support multiple engineering activities efficiently and accurately.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with microfabrication or process development.
- Exposure to surface chemistry and characterization.
- Knowledge of component testing, assembly, and quality validation processes.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- A relevant bachelors degree, with internship or laboratory experience that demonstrates hands-on skills in mechanical or process engineering.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in an onsite role in Santa Clara.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and follow safety and quality protocols.
