Join a highly respected building science and engineering consultancy that is expanding its mechanical engineering practice in the Pacific Northwest. This is an opportunity to work on complex and meaningful projects that improve building performance, reduce energy consumption, and support sustainability initiatives across new and existing facilities.

We are seeking Mechanical Engineers with experience in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and ducting systems. Candidates will contribute to a wide variety of projects involving system assessments, engineering analysis, retrofit strategies, building performance improvements, and mechanical design solutions. Hands-on field experience and the ability to perform site investigations are highly valued.

What You'll Do

  • Design and evaluate HVAC, plumbing, piping, drainage, and ventilation systems

  • Conduct system assessments, condition reviews, and field investigations

  • Develop retrofit and modernization recommendations for existing buildings

  • Collaborate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams

  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and project documentation

  • Support energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and building performance initiatives

  • Manage project scope, schedule, and client communications based on experience level

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

  • 3+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience

  • Knowledge of applicable building and energy codes

  • Experience with HVAC and building mechanical systems design and analysis

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills

  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation or path toward licensure is an asset

Compensation
