Joby Flight Research designs, develops, and flight-tests novel aircraft using a software-first autonomy approach. We build and deploy autonomy, perception, planning, and radar systems across conventional, electric, and hydrogen-electric aircraft in both CTOL and VTOL configurations.Overview Joby Aviation is seeking a passionate student to join the Flight Research team in Santa Cruz, CA as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. This individual would be responsible for designing testing equipment, ground support equipment, and related manufacturing tooling. The target base pay for this position is undergrad: $22.00 - $31.00/ hour; graduate: $5,550 - $7,800/ month.
