The Mechanical Engineering Intern will provide support to the mechanical engineering team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform basic engineering calculations including tolerance stacks to support design development.
- Participate in product testing including setup, data collection, and documentation.
- Build and evaluate prototypes in the lab.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Manager.
Required Qualifications for this role include:
- Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with CAD software (CATIA or Siemens NX) preferred.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and mechanical principles.
- Good knowledge in Microsoft M365 (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organization skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take initiative.
- Ability to work 25 hours per week.
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
