Our Client, an Internet Content & Information company, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer IV for their Sunnyvale, CA / Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Support internal product demos: device bring up and software readiness, ensure devices are working optimally, participate in any and participate in internal HW demos.
Support prototype work: building, testing, working with data collection teams, and procurement for any internal camera system prototypes
Plan and manage prototype work project with multiple team members
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineer, or Mechanical Engineering
Familiarity with working with camera sensors streaming RAW data
Experience with mechanical, optical and electrical prototyping: ability to put together complex systems, perform soldering and basic electrical testing, and evaluate and align optical components.
Experience Working on AI
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience working with cameras used for AI applications; such as AR/VR, Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Computer Vision applications, or other relevant fields.
Expertise with any of the following prototyping skills: CAD design & 3d printing, electrical design, programming embedded devices, assembly of consumer electronics
