Mechanical Engineer in Florence, CO. Construct, configure, and test debug robots and robotic systems, including code and simulation for outdoor autonomous vehicles. Analyze navigation and maintenance problems in robotic mechanical systems. Design or redesign mechanical assigned subsystems. Analyze equipment failures for correction and design issues. Develop and test prototypes. Analyze the test results and provide reports. Install software, operate, calibrate, and maintain robots. Assist in operational user interface development. Provide technical support and troubleshooting. Design and build solutions for autonomous driving. Work with sensor data for mapping and localization in challenging environments. Calibrate and interface sensors, electronics, and electrical components for integrating and controlling autonomous machines. Develop simulation environments to test motion planning and decision-making. Productize software; Work on robot arms, mobile robots, mobile manipulators, and grippers. Integrate software libraries for autonomous perception, navigation, and object manipulation. Network communication, cloud computing, and parallel processing. Create software tools for robot fleets. Leverage cutting-edge robotics. Integrate with AI. Write real-time code in C++. GPGPU programming in CUDA. Provide solutions combining C/C++, Python, Java, and Embedded and Web Technologies. Drive the engineering architecture, concepts, and design choices. Other similar professional responsibilities as assigned. Monday through Friday; 40 hrs/week. $96,000.00/annum. 50% health insurance payment, retirement options, paid vacation, paid holidays, sick leave, educational grants, flexible scheduling. Require Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent and 2 years experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
