Mechanical Engineer

Position: Mechanical Engineer

Growing Manufacturing firm in Manotowoc is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and processes for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for various projects

- Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility, cost, and performance of new mechanical systems and processes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project requirements are met and designs are optimized

- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing and construction purposes

- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the structural integrity and functionality of mechanical systems

- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the design and implementation process

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering to continuously improve our processes and systems

- Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes and final products to ensure quality and reliability

- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as needed

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the design and implementation of mechanical systems.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices

- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools

- Experience with project management and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
