Your Role: • Performing complex mechanical building design on a variety of projects to include, but not limited to, buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects. • Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software • Assist teams in performing design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system design • Providing credit documentation for LEED, and other building rating system design and compliance • Assisting in the preparation of basis-of-design descriptions, responses to client comments and other project-related documentation. • Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers. • Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications: • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering • 3-7 years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare facilities. • Proficient with the use of Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit software. • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) • Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills • Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment • PE registration is highly preferred in New York, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. in 1-2 years. • LEED AP BD+C accreditation is preferred • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience. Pay Range: $75,000 - $115,000/yr
